Fees and Insurance

Payment for services:

The fee for a 45-50 minute session during regular working hours is $120, due at the beginning of each session. Cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard are accepted. The fee is $200 for sessions on weekends and major holidays.


Insurance:

You should be aware of the potential for loss of confidentiality if you use your insurance benefits. Billing forms require an official diagnosis of a mental disorder before payments are made. Additionally, insurance companies have the right to request “progress notes” from your sessions, and sometimes do so. Once the billing forms or notes leave my hands I have no control over access to them.

Currently, I am on the provider panels for both Teachers Health Trust and BlueCrossBlueShield. To find out if your insurance covers work with me, call the customer service number on your health card. Even if I am not on your carrier’s panel they may pay you some benefits after a deductible is met.
